We see, read and hear much about the increasingly vast scale of destruction of our planet's environment, especially over the past two hundred years. So much so that many of us wonder if our own small efforts towards conservation have any chance of contributing significantly to changing the situation in a meaningful way.
However, we are also told that every one of us - and every single enterprise, business, company, corporation and organisation too - can make a difference when our efforts are all added together.
We all have an obligation to commit ourselves to the protection and conservation of the environment for the benefit of all future generations.

Our trees and forests are the metaphorical 'lungs' of the planet Earth. And many people are also aware of the historically large-scale destruction of trees and forests for paper-making and other purposes, and the need to reduce this threat to the environment in any way we can. Our initiatives contribute materially to the conservation of trees and forests and other resources of the planet.

WAR ON WASTE
Our War on Waste initiative forms part of our environmental awareness and action responsibilities. We have initiated and heightened our people's awareness of the need for conservation and environmental concern combined with positive action and we have chosen recycling as a central theme in the practical actions we have adopted.

ENERGY CONSERVATION
We highlight the importance of saving energy and encourage our people not only to do the same for themselves in their homes, but also to inform others around them about practical energy-saving.
In addition we have created a means of linking energy saving with the homes and orphanages we support.
